There may not be a storybook finishing all things considered. On Tuesday, the Colorado Rockies set shortstop Trevor Story on the 15-day impaired rundown.
The Rockies said Trevor Story is experiencing torn ligaments in Colorado Rockies left thumb, and will experience surgery in the following couple of days. The recuperation time is relied upon to associate with eight weeks, and the new kid on the block is not anticipated that would give back this season.
"Colorado Rockies have a feeling that Colorado Rockies mean a ton to the group, and it's hard to not be out there," Story said. "Simply the planning of it is the most noticeably bad. That is the hardest."
"Trevor Story is an extreme child, and Trevor Story'll shake off anything, however Trevor Story was harming. It was a warning," Rockies director Walt Weiss included.
Before his harm, Trevor Story has been batting .272, including 67 runs, 21 pairs and four triples. Moreover, Story's 27 grand slams right now drives the National League, and are the most in NL history for a new kid on the block shortstop.

The good news is that Trevor Story’s still young, and this isn’t the type of injury that should cause permanent damage. Once Trevor Story’s healed properly, we should see the same Story that Rockies fans have quickly grown to love.
